America First Supports All Efforts to Hold Biden Administration Accountable

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congress voted today to refer an impeachment resolution against President Biden as a result of his mismanagement of our southern border. America First Works issued the following statement on the matter:

“We commend our America First allies in Congress for pursuing a responsible, thoughtful, and all-of-the-above approach to hold the Biden Administration accountable for its corrupt and lawless policies and practices. This week’s Hunter Biden plea to criminal charges shows a pattern of avoiding basic notions around the rule of law. America First Works will continue working with Congress to hold President Biden and Administration officials accountable for possible impeachable offenses. 

This includes all efforts to impeach Homeland Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. An overwhelming amount of evidence and congressional testimony—including two Congressional appearances by AFPI leaders this month—shows that false statements by Secretary Mayorkas before Congress and his dereliction of duty are resulting in a humanitarian and national security crisis for every state in our nation.

If the rule of law means anything, if national borders mean anything, if the first role of government is to protect its citizens, then Mayorkas must be removed from office as quickly as possible.”
