Statement on U. S. House of Representatives Passing President Biden’s Big Government Socialism Bill

November 22nd, 2021

Washington, D.C. – Earlier today House Democrats passed amnesty for illegal immigrants, special interest carveouts, a tax increase on small businesses and families, and empowered the IRS to spy on Americans as part of President Biden’s Big Government Socialism Bill.

This legislation comes with an actual price tag of nearly 5 trillion dollars of taxpayer money. According to a Rasmussen poll, 92% of Americans recognize inflation is a serious problem hurting American families, and 56% agree Biden’s Big Government Socialism Bill will make it significantly worse.

“Democrat House leadership continues to prove themselves to be the party of big government, out-of-touch cultural elites, and wasteful spending on the backs of hardworking Americans. Their spending bill includes giving billions of dollars in tax breaks to trial lawyers, left-wing journalists, and the wealthiest one percent of Americans,” stated Ashley Hayek, Executive Director of America First Works. “It is now up to Senators Manchin, Sinema, and the Senate Republicans to push back on this tax hike and protect middle-class families, our vulnerable seniors, and minority communities whom this horrific socialist legislation would most severely impact.”

America First Works will ignite the spirit of the nation. We believe in the American people. We will fight for a country where freedom, equality and justice continue to be the foundation of our republic. We are patriots who will defend the America First agenda for generations to come.
