It is not unconstitutional to question an election or even lobby elected officials. Nor is it a violation of law to ask for a phone number or believe an election outcome is wrong. Did the radical left not protest and challenge the Presidential election all the way to the Supreme Court in 2000? Did they not attempt to delegitimize the 2004 Presidential election over voting machines in Ohio? Or refuse to acknowledge the outcome of 2016 and claim Russian intervention? And there’s Stacey Abrams of course.
If questioning election results constitutes a crime, then perhaps Stacey Abrams, Hillary Clinton, almost every Congressional Democrat and fake news media member should be indicted and hauled into court as well. It’s been 35 years since the last time the Democrats acknowledged a presidential-election defeat on election night. Who’s been delegitimizing elections again?
Given the stakes, it’s time for the GOP to respond with more than strongly worded tweets. The Left is making up crimes in real time to lock up their opponents, and if we are serious about stopping it, we must fight fire with fire, and the first step is to defund the special counsel.
