WASHINGTON, D.C. – America First Works (AFW) released the following statement applauding the House of Representatives for finally impeaching Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. AFW is now calling on the Senate to proceed to trial and remove him.
“AFW applauds the House for the impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas. Since last year, AFW has been calling for this as the border crisis has left American communities destroyed by the wave of illegal immigrants, families in mourning from the fentanyl epidemic, and police officers beaten in our streets.
Now, the Senate must remove him from office. If they do not, they would be giving a stamp of approval for the deadly costs of this border emergency.”
