WASHINGTON. D.C. – America First Works (AFW) strongly condemns yesterday’s vote by the 148 radical Left House Members opposing the detention and deportation of illegal aliens who have assaulted law enforcement officers.
“The lack of respect for the brave men and women in law enforcement sends a dangerous message that illegal aliens and violent offenders can assault our dedicated officers without facing serious consequences,” said Ashley Hayek, AFW Executive Director.
“If you’re an illegal alien and you assault one of our police officers, you should be detained and deported immediately. Sadly, a majority of Democrats have shown they don’t believe that should be the case and prioritize illegal aliens over American lives,” Hayek added.
