WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, America First Works (AFW) announced that it will be hosting a town hall in Scottsdale, Arizona, this Thursday at 6:30 p.m., on the border crisis and the “Children Are Not for Sale” ballot initiative featuring 12-time NCAA All-American Riley Gaines.
“For the sake of our children, we must put an end to the child trafficking epidemic that Kamala Harris’s border crisis greenlighted. We’re looking forward to hearing from Arizonans about how this crisis has affected them and what we can do to stop it. What’s clear is that we must turn the page on the Left’s open border policies. The ‘Children Are Not for Sale’ bill takes us in the right direction to that end,” said AFW Executive Director Ashley Hayek.
“The safety and future of our children is on the line in this election. We have a choice between keeping our border dangerously open or securing it and enforcing severe penalties on those who would harm children. It’s not a hard decision. For the sake of Arizona families and kids, let’s take a stand against the child trafficking that’s happening throughout this state,” said Riley Gaines.
AFW’s “Children Are Not for Sale” Town Hall will take place in Scottsdale, Arizona, at 6:30 p.m. on October 24, 2024. This crucial ballot initiative would make it so anyone convicted of sex trafficking of a child in Arizona would get life in prison. This event includes State Sen. Shamp, All-American swimmer Riley Gaines, AFW Executive Director Ashley Hayek, and a survivor and advocate for abuse victims Kayleigh Kozak.
