WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, America First Works (AFW) announced that it has made more than 10 million voter contacts between door-to-door canvassing and text messages in Pennsylvania to chase no and low-propensity voters in the Keystone State.
“Pennsylvania’s pivotal role in deciding elections is undeniable. America First Works has mobilized millions of voter contacts across the state through calls, door knocks, and texts to close the gap. By engaging Pennsylvanians directly, AFW has driven unprecedented turnout for early, in-person voting, ensuring Pennsylvania voters are ready to make a historic impact,” said AFW Executive Director Ashley Hayek.
AFW began reaching out to potential voters promoting America First policies in Pennsylvania over a year ago, starting with Bucks County and massively ramped up ground game efforts in June. Since June, AFW dialed up its ground efforts in Pennsylvania even further, deploying more than 1,000 paid canvassers and reaching over 858,000 voters at the doors. Adding onto these efforts, AFW maintained contact with these voters by sending over 9.2 million texts to Pennsylvanians. AFW has secured more than 50,000 unique ballots from Pennsylvania voters who did not vote in 2020, as well as making over 78,000 calls to people who didn’t vote last time but still need to turn in their ballots and another 143,000 calls to people in the state who voted absentee in 2020 but have yet to vote.
In total, AFW has reached over ten million voters across the state. As Election Day nears, AFW’s efforts to reach fired-up voters and get ballots turned in will continue as we ensure Pennsylvania voters are heard loud and clear.
