WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, America First Works (AFW) released the following statement urging Congress to pass a clean Continuing Resolution (CR) supported by President Trump:
“President Donald J. Trump’s first 50 days back in the White House have been a historic success in safeguarding taxpayer dollars and uncovering the fraud, waste, and abuse in our government. This critical work by the Trump Administration, spearheaded by DOGE, will be the key to finally getting our financial house in order. Frankly, it’s the last thing the radical Left and the Swamp want to see. They would love nothing more than to force a government shutdown and put sand in the gears of this unprecedented effort. We have a golden opportunity to save this country. Let’s not waste it. Congress must put politics aside and pass a clean CR now.”
