This effort keeps care close to home for rural committees. Now, he’s leading the fight to make sure families and small businesses don’t get stuck paying the power costs for Big Tech’s data centers.
Senator Husted’s Ratepayer Protection Act puts the responsibility where it belongs: if a major tech company’s data center requires new power generation and grid upgrades, that company should pay and not Ohio ratepayers. Jon has taken that fight to the Senate floor and kept pressing for action.
